Pockets Filled with Time / Lomer Fylt med Tid is a short solo that explores dreams and presence, inspired by the whispers carried by wind and nature. Through the interaction between the dancer and wooden wind chimes, the performance listens and negotiates with the nature and wind.
The piece transforms every time it is performed, shaped by its surroundings.
There is room for the audience to drift into their own dreams, close their eyes, listen or observe nature and dance.
Pockets Filled with Time is the first solo in Wiberg’s artistic research, exploring the dynamics that emerge as we shape our identities while moving between reality, fiction, and the act of dreaming.
Humanity’s relationship with nature has always been a foundation for our ability to dream and to understand our own nature.
With this work, I wish to create spaces where people, through nature, dance, and wind chimes, can dream, imagine, and find a deeper connection to themselves and to the living world around us.
