Nathalie Wiberg
Nathalie Wiberg is a contemporary dance artist, mainly operating around Scandinavia, She was adopted from Vietnam and grew up in Sweden & has her base in Stavanger, Norway.
With dance as her foundation, Nathalie works across disciplines, engaging with voice, theatre, and photography. Whether she creates alone or in collaboration with others, she is always driven by a sense of urgency and to reach beyond the desire of the capitalistic structures. Nathalie works as a dancer in others’ productions and as a creator of her own works, engaging in both collaborative and independent practices.
Nathalie did her training at Copenhagen Contemporary Dance School (DK), Institut Del Theatre (ES) and withheld a bachelor degree in dance from The University of Stavanger (NO) in December 2022.
After graduation Nathalie directly started an internship with Swedish award winning dance artist Ellen Söderhult, supported by Erasmus Plus Internship.
After the internship Nathalie directly became a dancer and singer in three productions by Ellen Söderhult, that have played on different stages and arenas around the Scandinavia countries.
Nathalie has during her professional career worked & been guided by mentors including Ellen Söderhult, Katarina Skår Lisa, Hanna Filomen Mjåvatn, and Shanti Brahmachari.
Nathalie engages in different collaborations such as
The project Mundane Variations, which toured around the west coast of Norway with Rosa Eri Steen & Brynjar Åbel Bandlien in 2023 & 2025.
Dance Collective WNW with William Säfström & William Nylind with the upcoming performance Spektrum in 2026 (SE).
She also works together with Indian dancer Purnendra Meshram, latest work-in-progress showing was at Gamle Munch, in Oslo during a residency supported by Tekstlab (NO).
Nathalie is currently part of Tekstlab’s mentor program Inkubator 2025-2026 in Oslo, Supported by Talent Norge (NO)
She has also been supported by and are in close collaboration with the contemporary art arenas;
RAS-Regional Arena for samtids and Tou scene, because of being selected in their mentor program Spire 2024-2025 in Stavanger, Norway.
