Nathalie Wiberg

Nathalie Wiberg is a contemporary dance artist, mainly operating around Scandinavia, She was adopted from Vietnam and grew up in Sweden, Denmark & has her base in Norway.

Nathalie investigates how cultural heritage and identity can be carried, distorted, and transformed, from the perspective of an adoptee. She believes in the potential of dance to create spaces for collective reflection, where we can question, hope, protest, and move together. It is in these spaces where the body can transform and where the boundaries between reality and imagination are blurred out.

With dance as her foundation, Nathalie works across disciplines, engaging with voice, theatre, and photography. Whether she creates alone or in collaboration with others, she is always driven by a sense of urgency and to reach beyond the desire of the capitalistic structures

Nathalie did her training at Copenhagen Contemporary Dance School(DK), Institut Del Theatre(ES) and withheld a bachelor degree in dance from The University of Stavanger (NO) in December 2022.
After graduation Nathalie directly started an internship with Swedish award winning dance artist Ellen Söderhult, supported by Erasmus Plus Internship.

After the internship Nathalie directly became a dancer and singer in three productions by Ellen Söderhult, that have played on different stages and arenas in Sweden, Denmark and will present the latest one, BLESSIKA in Norway, 2026.
During her professional career she also danced in two productions of Eli Eli and the Norwegian artists Katarina Skår Lisa, Rosa Eri Steen & Brynjar Åbel Bandlien.
